Are you an aggressive power player, determined to dominate the baseline and never back down?
The Pure Aero 98 Gen9 is your ultimate weapon. With surgical precision, explosive topspin, and perfect control, this racquet embodies performance for demanding players.
For over 20 years, Babolat has been innovating spin technology to help you unleash your full potential. This new generation of Pure Aero 98 takes things even further. After two years of research in the lab and on the court, the frame features an even more aerodynamic design, allowing each strike to cut through the air with remarkable power and speed.
Like Carlos Alcaraz, unleash the full speed of your arm and generate maximum topspin. Your balls will spin faster, your strikes will be harder, and your forehand will achieve surgical precision. The smaller racquet head size (630 cm²) instills complete confidence in your shots.
Get ready to elevate your game with the Pure Aero 98 Gen9 tennis racquet. Speed up your performance and outperform your opponents with even more precise topspin on the court!
Spin
Push the limits of your game with the Pure Aero Gen9! Its Aeromodular 4 frame reduces drag by approximately 6%*, optimizing aerodynamics for superior performance. Combined with FSI Spin technology, this racquet maximizes spin. Dominate the court with a racquet engineered to cut through the air seemlessly with every shot!
Feel
Experience the perfect connection between your racquet and your hand with the Pure Aero 98 Gen9. Equipped with NF²-Tech 2.0 technology, this racquet ensures a pure feel with every stroke. The natural flax fibers effectively filter vibrations and produce a satisfying sound at impact, offering a unique sensation that elevates every match into an exceptional moment.
Precision
Attack the ball without compromise to outpace your opponent. With a 98 square inch head size and a 16x20 string pattern, this racquet delivers ultimate precision for your shots. Successfully target the perfect zones and leave your opponents standing far away from the ball.
AEROMODULAR4
The optimized aerodynamic frame, with a reworked core and integrated plastic parts, reduces drag and improves racquet head speed. This technological advancement optimizes spin generation and smoothness of play. The result: faster acceleration, increased spin, and more powerful shots.
NF²-TECH 2.0
Version 2.0 of our natural flax fiber technology offers a 100% unidirectional fabric, ensuring superior mechanical strength aligned in the direction of the fibers and optimal filtration of vibrations. The flax patches are strategically placed to effectively filter vibrations and transmit only the desired feel to the player's hand.
FSI SPIN
A specific string pattern (16x20), combined with Spin Grommets at 6 and 12 o'clock, optimizes string movement for a powerful, controlled spin. The Woofer System increases ball-to-string contact time for better grip and feel. The result: exceptional control, greater precision, and more dynamic shots.
